Tonight we are being graced by the biggest and brightest full moon of the year...it's orbit is kind of "lopsided" and it makes it so it is about 15,000 miles closer to Earth.
I took this shot about 2 1/2 hours after my earlier submission [link] (1st at about 9:00 and this at 11:30pm, eastern time). The coloring is still kind of yellow but it seems a lot brighter now and it is higher in the sky. I could stare at it all night! There is something magical about the moon.... This is known as a "Corn Moon"...harvest moon is next month. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
